Perp trend following
Trades BTC and ETH perpetuals on Hyperliquid prices: long when the fast moving average is above the slow one, short when below. Pays real taker fees and funding.
- 1Leverage: 1×. Position size relative to margin.
- 2Fast average: 12h. Fast EMA on hourly closes.
- 3Slow average: 4d. Slow EMA on hourly closes.
- 4Stop loss: 6%. Close a position whose price moved this much against it, until the signal flips.
- 5Flip buffer: 1%. Only change side when the two averages are at least this far apart.
- 6Crowding guard: 0%. Don't open a side whose funding costs more than this a year to hold (a crowded trade); 0 turns it off. The Hyperliquid positioning tool sets it.
Kage learns from its losses
After a loss, Kage reviews what went wrong and proposes fixes to its rules. Each fix is backtested against the rules it has now; one that clearly does better goes to the Neuron team, and approved fixes become its rules right away.
No losses reviewed yet.
